Scope of Tourism - Kassem Mohamad Ajami Nigeria


Tourism itself brings joy to everyone’s face. Hardly there will be any person who does not like to travel and visit the unexplored places in the world. With that thing in mind, many people head to Nigeria as it is a great place to know about a different culture and witness the events happening there.
When it comes to the future of Nigeria, then it one of the largest contributors in boosting the economy of Africa. Due to the same reason, it is also called as the Giant of Africa. Tourism plays a significant role in boosting the economy of Nigeria.

The most important role played by tourism in Nigeria is that it generates innumerable job opportunities for the youth. Having the third largest youth population, tourism provides them with the way to create their future in tourism. Teenagers are hardworking and by doing their jobs, they indirectly contribute to boosting the economy of Nigeria.
Even though Nigeria is widely famous for its ethnic groups and events, but it has ample of natural attractions as well. Preservation of nature from exploiting is the responsibility of the country and it requires some additional investment as well.

The revenue generated from tourism can also help in the preservation of nature and will provide environmental benefits as well. All these actions will make Nigeria more beautiful and will attract a lot of new tourists as well.
Nigeria is a great hub for international tourists who bring in foreign currency in the country. Tourism not only makes better job opportunities but will also help in bringing foreign currency as well. It will eradicate the issue of balance of payment and add revenue to the account of the nation.
Sometimes tourists might want to return to the place where they have already visited once. The primary reason for coming back is that they liked the destination in the first place and do not expect to witness any chance. However, everybody likes to see new things unexpectedly.
With the help of revenue generated through tourism, Nigeria is hoping to get new and better infrastructure. This includes new parks, better roads, and great public space. It will also make the tourists come back to Nigeria in the hope of something new every few years.
For every country, tourism is an essential part of the development and Nigeria is no different from any other nation. However, with the rising number of tourists, the scope of tourism is surely maximized.
