Fashion is something which will stay in this world forever. Whether it’s a man or a woman, everyone wants to stay fashionable and keep updated with the latest trends. When it comes to men’s fashion, then Nigerian men are extremely enthusiastic about it.
Unlike any other people, Nigerian men are diverse and like to depict their culture in their clothing. As this nation is rich in ethnic groups, and religion, there are immense varieties of fashion for men as well.

The fashion is divided into two parts; traditional clothing and western clothing. As the name suggests, traditional clothing is entirely created in Nigeria. Moreover, it depicts the religion, and culture of the wearer as well.
Agbada is one of the most popular dresses for men in Nigeria. It is a long dress with wide sleeves and shoulders that look great. As Agbada is simple, Dashiki is more colourful and punchier. It is a sleeveless shirt which is loved by Nigerian men. The rich colours and the comfort are the factors that make this dress popular all around the globe.
If anyone wants a simpler yet elegant looking clothing, then Jalabiya is the attire that they should get. It is mainly a long dress which provides utmost comfort to the wearer. However, its simplicity is the thing that sets it apart from any other clothing.
Another fashion popular among Nigerian men is the senator style. It is a simple outfit, but quite effective and attractive looking. The attire is made from a suit which consists of a shirt and a simple pant. It depends on the wearer whether he wants a sleeved shirt or a sleeveless one. To enhance the fashion, a matching hat can also be added to the senator style wearing.
The reason why Nigerian men have a great sense of fashion is that there is a different fashion for different. For social events, Nigerian men wear traditional wrapper. It is basically a woven garment worn at the bottom and tied till the ankles. It can be combined with Agbada or Isiagu to enhance the looks.
Without a doubt, fashion for men in Nigeria is extremely rich. They have a different type of clothing for different purposes and events. Nigerian men like to wear both traditional as well as western attire. The punchy colours and accessories like hats make the attire even more appealing to the eye.
