What’s your choice Employee vs Entrepreneur?
Choosing the right career
path is one of the most important and toughest decision of our life. We have to
make a decision in which we are not only just be successful but also enjoying
every aspect of our job or work. But without exploring all the options how can
we are sure whether we make the right choice or not. Kassem Ajami Nigeria tells
us about his experiences and help us in making the right choice. He says the
first step is to choose whether we want to be an employee or an entrepreneur
i.e. self-employed - be your own boss.
Employee or
Entrepreneurship? Most of the people ignore this question and went to the job
market without thinking about business or work. You may find the great job out
there but it is also possible that if you do your own work you may be more
successful. If not be successful, you’ll learn many things which are beneficial
for your future. Therefore, being an entrepreneur, Kassem Ajami Nigeria always
tells us to look for both the options before being someone’s employee. You have
to make a choice which can suit your goals and your personality.
Difference between Employee &
Entrepreneurship:

Employment is basically a relation between two
parties where one party (employer) gives a job to another party (employee) as a
job package where he has to perform some specific tasks as told by the
employer. The main drawback of being an employee is that you’ll bound to only
that work. There’s nothing to learn new and you;ll have less freedom, and
money, as it is fixed by the company or the employer.
While, Entrepreneurship is
the “self-employment” in simple words where you are your own boss and you start
your own work or project. Of course it is not that simple as there is your
investment completely and the risk factor is very high. But here you are not
bound to earnings, working time and you can always learn something new whenever
you want. If we conclude entrepreneurship in one line, we can say that it is a
challenge you take and do hard work to gets it. It can be a long process as it
take a long time to get the knowledge of market in the same business and
experience, but it will worth it once you are settled.
However there are some
similarities also between employee and entrepreneur. At both the places, you
have to deliver value and creative work, you can learn dealing with people, and
learn to solve the problems in different ways.
The first thing you have to
think is the lifestyle you want, that is what kind of lifestyle you want -
comfortable lifestyle or you always wants to stay moving and taking risks.
Whatever you choose, you have to make sure that you follow your passion and you
are happy with what you do.
